My work is forged in series: repeated explorations where I follow a path until it teaches me where it goes. Each series is a journey in scale, dimension, colour, or form, from subtle earth tones to deep chromatic complexity. Each piece is a record of a moment that can’t be repeated.

Copper begins in fire. It glows orange into crimson, and the heat climbs through the tongs into your palm like a pulse. Under the hammer it hardens and remembers every blow. I cut the geometry first: bands that weave, shapes that fold into depth, surfaces that are flat but refuse to look it. Then the quench, where the copper blushes into pigments no other metal can hold: rose, flame, bruised violet, the deep green of age. No two firings blush the same.

This was the first metal our hands learned to bend. It carried us out of sticks and stone, into a world where we could build and invent. I still work it the way those first hands did, by feel. Smooth where it has been burnished. Rough where it has been struck. The metal keeps the pressure of every decision.

Then I watch it continue. Into new directions. Into personal reflections. Each series a stepping stone for what comes next.

This archive traces that evolution.
